Rome Trevi Fountain

Rome

Journey with us into the Eternal City with this four-day itinerary showcasing ancient history, world-class landmarks, charming neighbourhoods, and unforgettable experiences.

Our Itinerary

Day 1 - Classical Rome

Begin your Roman adventure by stepping back in time at the iconic Colosseum, where gladiators once battled before roaring crowds. Continue your exploration through the ruins of the Roman Forum, the political and social heart of the Roman Empire.

Pause for lunch at a traditional trattoria near the Colosseum and enjoy authentic Roman cuisine in a historic setting. In the afternoon, make your way to Capitoline Hill, offering sweeping views over the Forum. Visit the Capitoline Museums and admire Michelangelo's elegant Piazza del Campidoglio.

As evening falls, head to the bohemian Monti district. Wander its charming streets before settling in for dinner at a cosy local restaurant.

Day 2 - Vatican & Eternal Rome

This morning, visit St. Peter's Basilica in Vatican City. Marvel at its magnificent interior and, if you're feeling energetic, climb to the top of the dome for breathtaking panoramic views of Rome.

Enjoy a relaxed lunch at a café near the Vatican, offering a wide selection of Italian favourites.

In the afternoon, stroll along Via della Conciliazione to Castel Sant'Angelo. Explore this historic fortress and take in stunning views from its terrace overlooking the River Tiber. Spend your evening in the lively Campo de' Fiori, renowned for its buzzing atmosphere, excellent restaurants, and vibrant nightlife.

Day 3 - Baroque Rome & Trastevere

Start early at the world-famous Trevi Fountain, when the morning light and quieter streets make for the perfect visit. Continue on to the elegant Spanish Steps, one of Rome's most iconic meeting spots.

Lunch is best enjoyed at a café around Piazza di Spagna, ideal for people-watching and soaking up the city's atmosphere. In the afternoon, visit the remarkable Pantheon, one of the best-preserved ancient buildings in the world, and admire its impressive domed ceiling.

As evening approaches, cross the Tiber into Trastevere. Wander its narrow cobblestone streets and enjoy dinner at a traditional trattoria in this picturesque neighbourhood.

Day 4 - Rome's Hidden Gems

This morning, explore Testaccio, a neighbourhood beloved for its authentic Roman character and vibrant food market. Enjoy lunch locally, sampling traditional Roman specialities in one of the area's well-loved eateries.

In the afternoon, head to Aventine Hill, home to the peaceful Orange Garden (Giardino degli Aranci) and the famous keyhole view of St. Peter's Basilica.

End your Roman journey in Piazza Navona, where Baroque architecture, fountains, and street performers create a magical atmosphere. Dine at a charming restaurant and soak up the final moments of your time in the Eternal City.
