Arrive in Amsterdam and either take a private transfer or hop on the efficient NS train straight into Amsterdam Centraal. After lunch, check in or drop your bags at your accommodation before heading out on an afternoon canal cruise. Seeing Amsterdam from the water offers a magical new perspective on the city’s elegant bridges and merchant houses. In the evening, make your way to the lively square of Leidseplein, where you’ll find a wealth of restaurants, bars and entertainment to choose from.
Start your morning with a visit to the world famous Van Gogh Museum where you can immerse yourself in the life and masterpieces of Vincent van Gogh. Enjoy lunch nearby and then take the short walk to the Rijksmuseum for an afternoon exploring its extraordinary collection. Spending two to three hours here with an audio guide is highly recommended. Begin your final full day with a relaxed coffee in the lively De Pijp district before making your way to Vondelpark for a peaceful morning stroll. Continue on to the Jordaan district for lunch followed by an early afternoon beer in one of its many cosy pubs. Later, visit the Anne Frank House to learn about the powerful story that has touched people all around the world. For your final evening, take the free ferry from Centraal Station to Amsterdam Noord and visit the A’DAM Lookout. If you are feeling adventurous you can try the rooftop swing before enjoying a cocktail with an unforgettable view over the city. Finish the evening with dinner overlooking the waterfront.
